Presenting Jayakar R, who defined himself as a middle bencher in school, born and brought up in the city of Bangalore. Interested in everything except Hindi and Physics, he was overall an above-average student, keenly interested in the game of volleyball. For the most part, he developed a fascination for the science and art behind buildings, wanting to get into civil engineering which to date is a dream yet to be pursued by him.
He plunged into a new adventure after schooling, enrolling himself in a BCA course, a field that was a complete enigma to him. His first year, like that of most students, was filled with a
and a strong camaraderie with his teachers.
One particular educator, who employed a practical teaching approach, was instrumental in his shift towards programming.
This teacher believed in fostering creativity, assigning programming tasks without strict deadlines, and hoping students would create something unique.
The reward was satisfaction and recognition, fostering motivation and morale. This experiential learning method nudged Jayakar from rote-learning codes to diving deep into the fascinating world of programming.

His career at 91social saw a transformation from him being an intern to becoming a leader. He sharpened his skills in Java and DevOps and successfully was part of a four-member team in developing a project named 'Episilia', eventually becoming the DevOps lead of the company.
In his leisure, Jayakar enjoys long bike rides, traveling, watching series, and being one with nature. His journey is a testament to the idea that staying true to one's interests and honing one's skills can lead to unexpected and fulfilling achievements. Jayakar's story serves as a joyful inspiration, reminding us to have faith in our capabilities and seize the opportunities that come our way.
Jayakar actively engaged in college fests and social events, firmly believing in learning through real-world experiences beyond the confines of classrooms.
After graduating, Jayakar received a golden opportunity to intern with ISRO, particularly on the prestigious Chandrayaan 2 project.
Jayakar was a vivacious and outgoing personality, capable of making any room sparkle with laughter. He was a favorite among teachers, which granted him the privilege to be informal, even bunking classes to share time with his mentors. In 2017, after graduating, Jayakar received a golden opportunity to intern with ISRO, particularly on the prestigious Chandrayaan 2 project. It was a dream come true for many, including him when he witnessed the rocket launch and even spotted the Honorable PM Modi from a distance. However, realizing the monotonous nature of the job, he decided to broaden his horizon, leading him to join 91social in the year 2019, November.
He was so adept that he started doing group projects single-handedly solving his peers' programming tasks, in exchange for them writing his records and other assignments, thus enhancing his coding knowledge. Jayakar attended Garden City College in Bangalore for his BCA, having many creamy awards to his name. He actively engaged in college fests and social events, firmly believing in learning through real-world experiences beyond the confines of classrooms. Later, he appeared for the PGCET exam and secured admission directly into the second year of the MCA course at Dayanand College.
